  • American Flies with AspireHR

    American Airlines was founded by Charles Lindburgh and has been flying for the last 90 years.  Following the merger with USAirways that occurred in 2013, the employee population for AA exceeded 100k employees.  With the merger of the two companies, a new human resources and payroll system was needed with the flying power to support the needs of the newly-merged company.  Also, it was the ideal time to modernize and improve on the employee experience by implementing state of the art human resources and payroll processing systems.  As part of the merger process, all human resources systems were evaluated for fit in meeting the needs of a very large, diverse organization.  It was determined that:

  • Making A Splash With BlueTriton Brands

    BlueTriton Brands needed key HR functions delivered in eight months. These included Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Talent, as well as business (IT) operations to support HR functions. BlueTriton Brands had been operating 49 disparate HR systems, making it difficult to quickly access information and make informed, data driven decisions. Many key HR processes relied on paper forms which limited access to data and often led to long resolution times. These inefficient, manual processes stunted their business growth and ability to manage operations effectively, leading to a poor employee experience.

  • Ingles Keeps It Fresh With Aspire HR

    Ingle’s Markets is a regional grocery chain with 26k+ employees that began in Asheville, North Carolina in 1963, founded by Robert Ingle.  Typically located in under-served rural markets, Ingle’s has expanded into Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia and Alabama.  The stores carry bakery, deli, and meat departments in addition to standard grocery as well as pharmacy and in many locations, fuel. The stores are supplied product by Ingle’s state of the art distribution center, located centrally and within 250 miles of all stores. In addition, Milkco, a wholly-owned subsidiary, supplies Ingle’s Markets with fresh dairy products and other beverages as well as selling their products to other entities.  In addition to name-brand products, Ingle’s Markets carries their own brand, Laura Lynn, named after Robert’s daughter, that is comparable or better in quality than name-brand products. Ingle’s Markets was using SAP Human Resources and Payroll as well as the Financial Modules, implemented approximately 10 years ago.  With the advent and advantages of cloud service offerings, moving from their client server platform to a faster, state-of-the-art database and system was determined to be necessary to support the planned growth and direction of the organization.
