SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud
SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) is SAP’s managed private cloud for enterprises running mission-critical SAP workloads. Unlike public cloud deployments, HEC delivers a dedicated, single-tenant environment in which SAP assumes full operational accountability, covering infrastructure management, security governance, performance SLAs, and system availability. Organizations run SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and select third-party applications across SAP-owned data centers and major hyperscalers, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The model eliminates the infrastructure burden that traditionally falls on enterprise IT teams.

SAPinsider surveyed 122 community members through late 2025. Smaller organizations are twice as likely as larger enterprises to be planning for SAP Cloud ERP Private.
