Protera Technologies, a cloud managed services provider, recently acquired Managecore for an undisclosed sum – in a move that is broadens Protera’s cloud offerings to include Google Cloud Platform for SAP environments. With this acquisition, Protera has expanded its range of cloud offerings to include managed cloud services with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google environments.

Protera CEO Mike BeDell said the company’s advanced cloud managed services now will offer an even wider range of hyperscaler choices for clients with Managecore’s solutions and services. Managecore is a RISE with SAP provider and this acquisition is expected to strengthen and broaden Protera’s offerings in the SAP space.

Managecore, a Franklin, Wis.-based company, also offers broader public cloud-focused SAP services. Since its founding in 2016, Managecore’s reputation is built on helping enterprise clients manage SAP in the public cloud. Managecore was among the earliest Google Cloud Platform partners to specialize in SAP and one of the first SAP partners to release a companion solution for RISE with SAP.
