A recent global digital supply chain report by Oxford Economics in 2023 revealed that manufacturing executives are more inclined to deploy intelligent technologies for predictive analytics. This allows customers to monitor, measure, and take action to reduce waste during the packaging design process. SAP has also expanded its integration with EcoVadis SAS, a business sustainability ratings provider, within the Trading Partner Profile (TPP) which enables suppliers to highlight their sustainability performance and showcase their EcoVadis sustainability rating status across the SAP Business Network. This facilitates buyers in identifying opportunities to comply with emerging environmental, social, and governance (ESG) due diligence and reporting regulations. It also enables them to select new suppliers who can help them meet their sustainability commitments across their corporate and value chain.
