AWS Offers Partner Training and Enablement Program to Boost SAP Knowledge

Technological advancements are the underpinning of a robust SAP landscape. Organizations must keep pace with the latest upgrades and additions to maximize the value of their SAP investments and ensure they do not fall behind the competition. To help organizations keep pace, Amazon Web Services (AWS) is offering its users essential guidelines and training on how enhance their SAP knowledge.

In a blog post, AWS announced they will offer courses in which AWS Partners can bolster their knowledge to earn AWS Learning Badges. The company says these badges will “not only demonstrate your knowledge and skills, but also provide digital badges that are shareable on social networks to help you stand out.”

Learning Badges

The first new badge is for Architecting SAP on AWS. In this training, users will learn important techniques and patterns used to migrate and deploy SAP on AWS. This will include topics like:

• Sizing
• Meeting performance targets
• Basic system operations
• SAP Lens for the AWS Well-Architected Framework

These skills are essential to SAP organizations in 2024 and into the future. SAPnisider’s recent benchmark research report The CIO’s 2024 Agenda for SAP, SAP S/4HANA, the Cloud and Beyond found that SAP S/4HANA skills are the most in demand for tech executives. More than 44% of respondents said they needed to develop or add this proficiency to their team in 2024.

Another badge available to AWS partners is the Modernizing SAP on AWS badge. In this program, users will learn how to integrate SAP applications with AWS and SAP BTP services. This will allow users to modernize their business processes with benefits like generative AI, analytics, and more.

Continuing Education

Beyond the badges, AWS offers training courses for users with all levels of skill and experience through AWS Skill Builder. Those who want to bolster their capabilities can learn about some of the fundamentals of AWS for SAP, gain insights on how to design and deploy SAP workloads, and improve their proficiency for RISE with SAP.

Users can access hands-on workshops guided by experts for that extra level of attention to ensure that they have mastered the subject matter.
