IndX Innovation Lab: Your Gateway to Industry X.0

The IndX Innovation Lab, established in 2018, stands at the forefront of digital transformation, offering a comprehensive platform for exploring Industry 4.0 and 5.0 technologies. Our lab demonstrates the entire product lifecycle, from design to packaging, using advanced simulations and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to create efficient manufacturing flows. Clients and partners are invited to test new solutions, sensors, and components in a controlled environment, making it easier to experiment with cutting-edge technologies. The lab emphasizes the integration of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT), addressing key areas such as cybersecurity, sustainability, and energy monitoring. By leveraging our expertise, we provide tailored roadmaps for effective digital transformation. As part of the Engineering Group’s strategy, the IndX Innovation Lab is dedicated to advancing technology to positively impact customers, their workforce, and the end consumer.

We created the Industries eXcellence Innovation Lab in 2018 with the objective of making our solutions and our competencies about Industry 4.0 tangible. Engineering Industries eXcellence was a pioneer in digital transformation even before the term Industry 4.0 was coined. Our innovation lab, one of the first of its kind, was originally created to demonstrate how we can automate a factory.

At the IndX Innovation Lab, we follow the entire lifecycle of a product, starting from its design, moving through production and ending with packaging. To realize our laboratory, we started by using simulation to design an end-to-end manufacturing flow and a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) application to project production. Customers and partners are very welcome in our laboratory. Here they can discover new solutions and experiment combining them with technologies we have already implemented in their facilities.

They can also test specific use cases, such as using sensors or new components that would be difficult to test in their plants because of security or cost.The IndX Innovation Lab signifies a transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0, where we cover topics like cybersecurity. Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) integration, innovation, sustainability, energy consumption monitoring and training your workforce.
