Many SAP customers adopt a hybrid SAP Human Capital Management approach, maintain SAP ERP HCM on-premise with SAP SuccessFactors Talent Management tools in the cloud. SAP has set an end of mainstream maintenance of 2027 for SAP ERP HCM, but is offering SAP S/4HANA sidecar options for customers to extend their on-premise capabilities until 2030.
