Fola Bolaji

Fola Bolaji is a seasoned cybersecurity leader with deep expertise across academia, industry, and advanced research in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer and Information Technology from Purdue University, West Lafayette, where his research focused on AI-driven cybersecurity. He also holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Ibadan. Fola’s professional career spans technical, academic, and leadership roles. He worked as a Computer Engineer at Webplace Computers and later founded and operated his own startup, Gracelink Computech. He served extensively in academia as a Lecturer and Assistant Director of ICT. His industry experience includes serving as an Information Technology Security Specialist and Global Ambassador at Purdue University, Senior Network Security Engineer at Kebcom IT Solutions in Colorado, and CrowdStrike AI/Cybersecurity Scholar (2019). From 2020 to 2024, he led cybersecurity and IT operations at DeepHow Corp, AI-powered leading solution for knowledge capture, management, and transfer. In late 2024, he joined Apiphani, a technology-enabled services company focused on securing and managing mission-critical applications, where he currently leads the Cybersecurity team. Fola’s technical background is reinforced by an extensive list of professional certifications, including CISSP, CISM, CEH, CHFI, ECSA, CCNA, AWS Cloud Practitioner, multiple Oracle Cloud and OCI certifications, MySQL OCA, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Zend Certified Engineer. His experience includes vulnerability assessment, incident response, cloud security, regulatory compliance, and the integration of AI into cybersecurity operations. With over 20 years of progressive experience, Dr. Fola Bolaji is recognized for his strong leadership, technical excellence, and commitment to advancing cybersecurity practices in both enterprise and educational environments.
