Panel Discussion | Deployment options for SAP S/4HANA

Meet the Speakers

Choosing your SAP S/4HANA deployment method is one of the most important choices of your overall migration. For some, a new implementation, typically called a Greenfield deployment, offers the advantage of moving away from limitations of older deployments. However, since a new implementation enables a complete re-engineering and process it can be more complex. Meanwhile, a system conversion, referred to as “Brownfield”, enables migration to SAP S/4HANA without re-implementation and disruptions to systems, but does have limitations. A selective data migration, sometimes called Bluefield, can offer a compromise between Greenfield and Brownfield approach; it still saves the value of the existing solution but gives more flexibility for the go live phase allowing separated go-lives for different company codes and for the system downtime optimization.

With a focus on applicability options, this session will help you begin to address key challenges with these deployment options. In addition, you will become a part of a powerful learning community that comprises a wide range of industries, experiences, backgrounds, and geographies that provide a source of insights.
