SAPinsider surveyed 144 business and IT leaders who highlighted the growing importance of BI in enabling data-driven decision-making, optimizing operations, and enhancing customer experiences.
The need for agility in response to global changes emerged as a key driver for 45% of respondents, while the focus on ROI for technology investments rose slightly to 35%. There remains a strong demand for integrated data management solutions despite a slight decline in expectations for cross-enterprise BI. The survey also revealed a shift towards proactive, real-time decision-making, with increased emphasis on empowering both C-suite and line-of-business stakeholders, ensuring decisions are aligned with strategic goals and enhancing organizational agility.
