As an internationally active company, the IT department of Klingspor AG has been focusing for years on constant 24/7 operation of the systems and maximum customer satisfaction. In order to meet these goals and the ever-increasing challenges of digitalisation and the market, the long-standing customer of our mirroring software DBShadow now also uses our integrated solution for the automation of system copies – Libelle SystemCopy (LSC).

Challenge:
Over 50,000 articles, more than 30 international locations and countless demands on the IT landscape: manual system copies are definitely out of place with these orders of magnitude. Klingspor AG was therefore looking for a solution that would allow system copies of the entire SAP landscape to be made at any interval. The database copy and all rework in the systems should be carried out as automatically as possible.

Solution:
Once the decision was made and the start date set, the installation and configuration was done within a few days with the Libelle team. Thanks to Libelle SystemCopy, all manual work involved in performing system copies has now been automated. Since the introduction of LSC, Klingspor has been updating SAP systems several times a year. Quickly, consistently and in the highest quality.
