Corporate Real Estate (CRE) is Bayer AG’s real estate services provider. CRE provides support, organization and advice for all issues regarding corporate real estate management at Bayer locations in Germany and oversees international projects of
the Bayer divisions and companies.
CRE has been using Planon’s solutions for corporate real estate, property and maintenance management, including interfaces to SAP, to manage Bayer AG’s real estate portfolio since 2015.
The background
CRE uses Planon’s solution for corporate real estate and facility management to plan the maintenance of more than 26,000 technical facilities, with a goal to further advance digital transformation, improve operational excellence, and deliver measurably positive business value. In Germany, operational implementation was partially outsourced to a facility management service provider, directly connected to the Planon system.
To achieve their ultimate goal, CRE saw value in Planon being an open application platform, with the option of connecting new technologies, applications, and PropTech, such as those by Hexagon.
