Digital transformation may have reached buzzword stats years ago, but it is still relevant to many organizations looking to modernize their processes and systems to keep pace with trends in their industries. Digital transformation isn’t limited to a single technology or vendor, but SAP Digital Transformation is common, given SAP’s core enterprise technology market share.
What is SAP Digital Transformation?
Digital transformation may have reached buzzword stats years ago, but it is still relevant to many organizations looking to modernize their processes and systems to keep pace with trends in their industries. Digital transformation isn’t limited to a single technology or vendor, but SAP Digital Transformation is common, given SAP’s core enterprise technology market share.
Companies undergo digital transformation with SAP and other technologies by taking processes that may have been manually tracked through physical paper or spreadsheets and using digital technologies to make organizational data more accessible, more accurate, and more analyzable.

- Clearly define the primary reasons for digital transformation. - Build a culture for adoption. Automation is central to digital transformations — such as automation in finance, for example — and requires buy-in from department professionals to maximize value. Leadership-led change management providing governance and robust training helps build innovative cultures, enhancing the organization’s digital transformation strategy.
- Break down large digital transformation initiatives into digestible components. This was a key learning for the Eczacıbaşı Group in its SAP Digital Transformation with SAP S/4HANA. When hundreds of stakeholders have a say in determining project goals, implementation teams will benefit from knowing the precise steps to take, which tools to use, proper timing, and expectations. SAP Customers Plan to Reinvest in Teams, Skillsets, and TechnologiesApr 14, 2021 — To get an understanding of what is most important to the SAPinsider Community for the coming year, we surveyed 352 members of our community between December 2020 and February 2021 about their planned budgets, investments - both technical and financial, and teams. We also spoke with our executive community to learn about their upcoming plans for 2021. While many have needed to make adjustments to plans over the last 12 months, the consensus is that growth, and not downsizing, is in. Survey respondents from both studies show that organizations running SAP will increase budgets, investment, and skills in the year 2021.
The key to success for organizations is where and how they will invest. Because plans may have changed over the past year, aligning investment in skills with the priorities for 2021 is very important. For the executives we surveyed, the top priority was that of SAP S/4HANA (48%) followed by analytics (42%) and artificial intelligence (42%).
