SAP Cloud Integration Platform is a general term for cloud-based integration solutions available from SAP. Other key SAP partners offering cloud integration platforms include Boomi, IBM, Informatica, Microsoft, and Mulesoft.

Enerco, a group of companies active in the energy sector, moved from on-premise integration to SAP Integration Suite to support their adoption of cloud-based applications. Implementing SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Concur, SAP Ariba, and SAP Fieldglass meant that their existing integration solutions no longer met their needs. SAPinsider’s latest research on integration showed that less than one in 10 respondents said that their integration strategy was completely meeting their organization’s needs. Respondents also indicated that they were typically using more than four integration tools within their organization.
