AUMOVIO Modernizes Its IT Foundation with SAP Cloud ERP Private

AUMOVIO, the automotive technology and components provider, has selected SAP Cloud ERP Private (RISE with SAP) as the core of its digital transformation, moving its SAP systems, infrastructure, and related services to the cloud. The move is designed to streamline costs for core IT systems while providing the scalability needed to support the company’s future growth. 

The 2025 SAPinsider RISE with SAP Benchmark Report found that 65% of respondents are already running SAP S/4HANA or SAP Cloud ERP as part of their modernization journey, underscoring the broader industry shift toward cloud-based ERP foundations.

The Frankfurt-based company has implemented SAP Cloud ERP Private (RISE with SAP), together with SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Integrated Business Planning, and SAP Signavio, together as a transformation stack.

AUMOVIO’s addition of SAP Integrated Business Planning and SAP Signavio to its stack, strengthens its ability to improve supply‑chain transparency, continuous process optimization across engineering, procurement, logistics, supporting balanced operations as the company modernizes and scales its global processes. 

The cloud foundation also positions AUMOVIO to adopt innovations such as AI agents and centralized updates more quickly across the organization. This mirrors findings from the latest SAPinsider RISE with SAP Benchmark Report, where 43% of organizations said generative AI and SAP’s AI roadmap influenced their decision to adopt SAP Cloud ERP Private Edition, reflecting AI’s rising importance in cloud-driven transformation strategies.
