RISE with SAP provides the components needed to implement intelligent enterprise in a single contract. It combines business process intelligence with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, SAP Build, technical services, cloud infrastructure, BTPEA consumption credits, and generative AI capabilities. RISE with SAP is the platform that existing SAP customers can transform their organizations from both a technical and business process perspective as they move to cloud ERP through the ease of use of a single contract. RISE with SAP provides services and tools built on the clean core approach by SAP so that organizations can move from on-premise systems, transform business processes, drive innovation, and unlock the flexibility and scalability of the cloud.

RISE with SAP: Research And TrendsWhen it was announced in 2021, many were confused about RISE with SAP. RISE with SAP was initially presented as a Business-Transformation-as-a-Service offering that aimed to provide capabilities to transform organizations both from an infrastructure, as they moved to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, and process perspective, utilizing capabilities from newly acquired SAP Signavio.
7 minute readWhy RISE with SAP worked for Zespri InternationalZespri has been running SAP for nearly 20 years. Their existing business processes and underlying systems were based on a highly customized SAP ECC deployment with multiple bespoke .NET applications wrapped around that implementation. But Zespri has grown significantly since that initial implementation and were starting to struggle with underlying systems and processes that were originally implemented for an organization a fraction of the size. They wanted their transformation project to be about business process change. The focus of the entire project is enabling applications technology and RISE with SAP and SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition made this possible. Zespri selected RISE with SAP because it would save them money over an IaaS-based SAP S/4HANA deployment. To ensure that their deployment was successful, Zespri spent significant time preparing for their move to RISE with SAP. While they signed the contract in late 2020, they are still a month away from completing the first phase of their transformation. This will include the core SAP S/4HANA Cloud deployment along with supporting financial solutions.
