Boomi Boosts Secure MFT and Context Aware Integration with Thru Inc.’s Acquisition

AI-driven automation and SAP integration partner Boomi has acquired Thru Inc., an enterprise-grade Managed File Transfer (MFT) provider. The deal, announced on May 15 during Boomi World 2025 in Dallas, expands the company’s file-based integration capabilities within a single, cloud-native platform.

The deal, which is expected to close by the end of June 2025, follows Boomi’s acquisition of Rivery earlier this year and underscores the company’s efforts to enhance automation capabilities and customer value. Thru Inc., which has long been Boomi’s strategic partner for MFT solutions, will now enhance Boomi’s secure data exchange strategy and its ability to support end-to-end secure file transfer at scale.
