SAP ERP HCM is the traditional on-premise core HR offering that is still the SAP Human Capital Management solution in use for thousands of SAP customers. deliver exceptional end-to-end student experience ranging from courses, grades, research, billing, scholarships, etc.
SAP Payroll is also an on-premise tool, but its functionality is now available in the cloud with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is SAP’s core HR system of record solution.
SAP Human Experience Management (HXM) is SAP’s rebranding of SAP Human Capital Management that focuses on employee-centric HR and includes employee experience management tools.
SAP SuccessFactors Talent Management is a true expansion of capabilities beyond what SAP Human Capital Management on-premise offerings could accomplish. The Talent Management suite includes offerings such as Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management, Learning, Succession and Development, and the Opportunity Marketplace.
SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Planning and People Analytics offers HR-focused data capabilities for headcount and workforce planning and diving deep into workforce-related trends.

Many SAP customers adopt a hybrid SAP Human Capital Management approach, maintain SAP ERP HCM on-premise with SAP SuccessFactors Talent Management tools in the cloud. SAP has set an end of mainstream maintenance of 2027 for SAP ERP HCM, but is offering SAP S/4HANA sidecar options for customers to extend their on-premise capabilities until 2030.

Kennametal Transforms Rewards and Redemption with Xoxoday and SAP SuccessFactors Apr 1, 2022 — A rewards program can be a way for a company to show appreciation to its productive employees beyond the paycheck, but rewards programs are not useful if the rewards themselves are not appealing and hard to redeem. Kennametal sought to improve its rewards and recognition program to acknowledge and encourage work that benefits its customers and the financial performance of the organization. It did so with a combination of SAP SuccessFactors and Xoxoday's Rewards and Incentives platform. Xoxoday provided Kennametal with a unified platform that they could apply globally but also allowed employees to use their rewards at a regional level.
