MTY Group is a Montreal -based company that operates thousands of different quick service and fast casual restaurants across dozens of brands in the U.S., Canada, and elsewhere.
MTY was looking to modernize their ERP landscape that had grown exponentially through various acquisitions resulting in over 60 distinct ERP systems, the majority being on SAGE. Additionally, it struggled to manage its budget process. With its next budget cycle four months away, the company needed SimpleFi’s help optimizing these essential workflows.
MTY Group had more than 60 source ERPs that needed to be integrated, each with their distinct chart of account. To pull these all together, SimpleFi Solutions used a separate SQL database with standardized mapping between local chart of accounts and corporate chart of accounts already embedded within.
Amid this process, MTY Group was also in the process of moving to SAP S/4HANA. Though this process can take well over a year, the company still wanted to be able to leverage the power of SAP Analytics Cloud.
