Flintfox by Enable Earns SAP Clean Core Certification for RISE with SAP

Flintfox by Enable has been certified by SAP for clean core with RISE with SAP, validating that its integration with SAP S/4HANA Cloud can operate without modifying SAP’s digital core. Enable announced the certification on September 17.

SAP’s Integration and Certification Center certified Flintfox by Enable’s integration software as compliant with SAP extensibility standards, upgrade-ready across future SAP releases, and compatible with RISE with SAP. Flintfox by Enable provides enterprise pricing management for manufacturers, distributors, and branded goods companies managing complex on- and off-invoice commercial structures.

SAP Validates the Clean-Core Integration

The certification gives Flintfox by Enable formal validation within SAP’s partner ecosystem and provides customers with a reference for evaluating the integration architecture. Flintfox by Enable is also listed on the SAP Certified Solutions Directory, SAP’s public registry of partner solutions that have completed its certification process.

Enable CEO Andrew Butt tied the development to technical debt during S/4HANA Cloud migrations. “For distribution, manufacturing, and consumer goods companies in the middle of an SAP S/4HANA Cloud migration, the last thing they need is a vendor that introduces technical debt,” Butt said.

Enable said clean-core compliance has become an increasingly common procurement requirement as companies move from legacy ERP environments to SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Third-party applications that modify SAP’s core code can complicate future upgrades and cloud adoption, according to the company.

The certification does not remove the need for customers to evaluate implementation, integration, and governance requirements within their own SAP landscapes. It validates the underlying integration model, not every decision involved in deploying or operating it.

Flintfox by Enable Extends SAP Pricing

Flintfox by Enable extends commercial pricing beyond SAP’s condition technique by executing complex pricing, rebates, and incentives through a separate commercial layer. The platform can deliver real-time pricing across SAP applications and external sales channels.

Flintfox by Enable also executes a gross-to-net price waterfall incorporating pricing, promotions, rebates, and settlements. Enable says this gives finance teams transaction-level margin visibility without waiting for period-end reconciliation. Its broader pricing platform centralizes costs, rules, discounts, and adjustments and can calculate expected pocket margin before a pricing decision is finalized.

More than 40% of Enable customers operate within an SAP environment, according to previous SAPinsider reporting. For those customers, the new certification adds SAP validation to an existing pricing architecture as they evaluate specialized commercial requirements during SAP S/4HANA Cloud migrations.
