The prize was awarded to the “Subscribe to Plant” reforestation project developed by Inetum in collaboration with SAP and Quercus.

Distinguished by the prestigious SAP Corporate Social Responsibility Award, Inetum ‘s “Subscribe to Plant” initiative aimed to plant a thousand trees of native species in 2023. Through this action, technology assumed a crucial role in the revitalization of the Leiria Pine Forest, actively combating devastating effects of forest fires in recent years in Portugal.

“It is with great satisfaction that SAP recognizes Inetum ’s focus on sustainability. Inetum decided to help Portugal recover from the devastating forest fires by planting trees whenever a customer purchased a cloud SAP solution from Inetum . Inetum customers not only gain value from implementing Cloud solutions from the world’s leading company, they are also contributing to reforestation, thus helping to mitigate climate change. Through this project, Inetum is truly contributing to making the world work better and improving the lives of those who live in it. This social responsibility project could just be the beginning and I look forward to seeing the exceptional work that Inetum will continue to do in the near future”, says Rich Phillips, VP of Channels, SAP EMEA South, in a note congratulating the technology company for the prize collected.
