Michel Haesendonckx

Michel Haesendonckx is Global Solution Owner at SAP SE for SAP’s solutions in the area of Finance in general, focusing on Financial Planning & Analysis more specifically. In this role he is responsible for the solution strategy and drives the global go-to-market in this area, being highly involved in key innovation topics. He has 22 years of experience in the area of finance processes as well as analytics, of which 20 years in relation to SAP solutions. Apart from having been responsible for Presales and Business Development for the Finance line of business at SAP Belgium-Luxembourg for 8 years, he built his functional experience as external auditor, controller in the oil & gas sector and CFO in the port logistics industry. He further extended his view in this field through his leadership position in FP&A in a globally operating consulting organization. His practical experience is backed by a post university degree in Controlling. In addition, he is the author of the book “SAP S/4HANA Finance: The Reference Guide to What’s New” (ISBN 978-1-4932-1806-6).
