Meet the Author
Derek Maak
Derek has over 27 years of consulting and project management experience in large-scale business transformation and SAP implementation projects. He has managed implementations of a variety of SAP solutions including SAP S/4, SAP BRIM, SAP IBP and SAP CPQ. His focus areas are customer engagement, billing solutions and supply chain management for high tech, software and semiconductor companies. He has been leading Deloitte’s SAP BRIM initiative globally since 2006. He has led or advised 50 successful SAP BRIM implementations across a variety of industries with both B2B and B2C focus. In doing so he has gained vast expertise in assisting clients in their migration to As-a-Service business models (Usage and/ or subscription based). Derek has been awarded SAP's 2020 Innovation Award for his S4 HANA, hybris Commerce and SAP BRIM work with magic leap.
