The keynote session was packed with thrilling product announcements. A major highlight was the introduction of Joule, the digital assistant, which is now integrated across all SAP solutions. Joule is set to become the new front-end and user experience (UX), transforming words into actions. By the end of the year, SAP Joule will handle 80% of the most-used tasks with improved quality by identifying performance patterns. Additionally, SAP announced a partnership with Microsoft to integrate CoPilot with Joule, providing a seamless experience regardless of which digital assistant you use. Over 50 embedded use cases are now available within your applications, ready for immediate use, and SAP plans to deliver over 100 Generative AI scenarios by the end of 2024.

Another exciting announcement focused on the evolution of RISE with SAP. Guided by the SAP Enterprise Architect, this new approach ensures you can fully integrate without modifying your ERP while managing processes, systems, and data layers harmoniously in a highly secure and reliable cloud environment.

Following that, GROW with SAP updates were unveiled, designed to help mid-size companies leverage AI capabilities. The big news here is that GROW with SAP Premium will now include SAP Sales Cloud capabilities and SAP Concur Expense at no additional cost, streamlining the management of sales pipelines, finances, and expenses.

To close the keynote on a high note, the SAP team showcased the progress of Joule in partnership with NVIDIA. They introduced new consulting capabilities that accelerate SAP projects by 30%, saving up to 2 hours daily in finding the right information. With custom ABAP code, businesses can not only retrieve best practices and project-specific recommendations but also achieve custom business logic. The demo highlighted how Joule can deliver actionable steps and provide actual code according to specifications with a simple prompt.

There was also one main thing that stood out for us – the journey to modification-free ERP. Joule’s integration with IBP demonstrated robust supply chain management capabilities with just a few clicks, preventing short-term disruptions and offering intelligent issue resolution for optimal customer experiences. New AI capabilities within SAP Ariba Guided Buying, SAP Ariba Sourcing, and SAP Ariba Category Management allow for transforming Excel files into sourcing event line items and speeding up planning processes from days or weeks to just one click. The new SAP Spend Control Tower consolidates all necessary information on one screen, highlighting opportunities to reduce cost and risk.
