Wolfgang Epting

After studying Economic Computer Science at the University of Cooperative Education, Wolfgang Epting, Solution Advisor Chief Expert for Platform and Database Management Central and Eastern Europe at SAP, initially worked as a database administrator at Arburg GmbH. After a short training period he took over the main responsibility for the entire database landscape at this medium-sized mechanical engineering company. 2009 Wolfgang moved to the client technical professional department of IBM Deutschland GmbH and focused on the solution portfolio in the field of data governance, compliance and security. From 2014 on, he was responsible for data security and governance solutions at Informatica GmbH, before moving to SAP at the end of 2017, where he helps customers and prospects to implement proper data governance strategies and meet the challenge of the new EU Data Protection Regulation through the SAP Solution Portfolio.
