Stephen Wellman

Stephen is a 20-year veteran of the digital media marketplace. He most recently served as Vice President of Membership at the MMA, a trade association dedicated to architecting the future of marketing.
Prior to his time at MMA, Stephen served as Vice President of Content Solutions at HIMSS, where he helped transform pioneering healthcare media brands like Healthcare IT News and Mobihealthnews. During his time at HIMSS, he was instrumental in several initiatives, launching the global video platform HIMSS TV, overhauling email newsletters, and working to align digital media and live events with the HIMSS global content strategy.
Prior to HIMSS, Stephen served as Research Director at Gartner, where he served as an analyst covering content marketing and multichannel marketing. Over the years he has held a variety of content and marketing leadership roles at Reval, ALM, DHi, Ziff Davis, AuntMinnie.com, and Informa. Before that, he was one of the first employees at FierceMarkets, where he served as the company's founding editorial director launching several pioneering brands, including FierceWireless, FierceHealthcare, and FierceBiotech.
