Rik Holvoet
Having a degree in Industrial Engineering, Rik has spent almost his whole professional career active in IT. His latest assignments were : Service Delivery Manager and Account Executive at CSC Computer Sciences where he managed outsourcing contracts for the customers Bombardier Transportation and ISS Facility Management, followed by 4 years of Group ICT Manager for the Vitalo Group, a Belgium international group manufacturing plastic thermoformed packaging. For the past 9 years, Rik has been the CIO of BekaertDeslee, the major manufacturer of mattress fabrics and mattress covers. Owned by a German family equity holding Haniel and headquartered in Waregem Belgium, the group has manufacturing facilities located in Belgium, Turkey, Romania, Estonia, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, North America, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, China, Indonesia, Australia, and South Africa. The company is going through a massive continuous improvement program and a digital transformation program in order to build a more agile, customer driven, and sustainable/profitable future.
