How Do You Improve Visibility Into Your SAP Landscape?Oct 31, 2022 — IT landscapes continue to increase in complexity. A decade ago, all the enterprise solutions that an organization used were probably from the same vendor and were running on local systems and infrastructure. Today, that environment has changed completely. Few organizations are using just one vendor for all their solutions. Some solutions may still be running on-premise while others are already leveraging cloud-based infrastructure. Gaining insight into these landscapes is complex, but without that insight it can be impossible to effectively manage your environment.
To address this challenge, organizations need to improve their monitoring capabilities. This can include leveraging existing capabilities in SAP solutions, such as SAP Solution Manager, or third party solutions that offer monitoring capabilities across both SAP and non-SAP solutions. But once you have data, visualizing that information is almost as important. That visualization must be available in a timely manner.
