HCM and Digital Transformation

I consider ‘HCM or HXM digital transformation’ as the next evolution of what we used to call ‘the journey into the cloud,’ says Danielle Larocca who oversees the HCM and EIM technologies at EPI-USE Labs.

She says with any digital transformation, the concerns are around ensuring the continuity of business practices without any interruption of services whilst making sure there is an eye on innovation. As people either migrate their database to S/4HANA or actually start deploying SAP SuccessFactors, they often find themselves in a hybrid environment. Simply put, their data might be in two different places. “In talking to our clients, the primary issue is the integration challenge because their data in both systems must be synchronized. What people need are processes and procedures to ensure that the integration is working as it should,” observes Larocca.
