What is SAP Smart Forms?
Originally introduced by SAP in 1998 in order to overcome existing product limitations, SAP Smart Forms is used by organizations to create and maintain forms that are used for large volume printing in SAP systems. SAP Smart Forms supports output mediums that include printers, fax, email, or the web using generated XML output. The forms do not require any programming knowledge to create or maintain, support multiple page formats, can include both static and dynamic labels, and allow for the inclusion of graphics which can be displayed either as part of the form or as a background.
