SAP in Real Life: Fixing Duplicate Record Problems in SAP Data Archive FilesA leading household goods manufacturer faced a significant issue when duplicate entries in their SAP data archive files led to discrepancies in financial reports. The problem arose from inadvertently archiving the same documents multiple times, which went unnoticed until reports began to show inconsistencies. This solution restored accuracy in financial reporting and strengthened the integrity of the company’s data archiving processes, with approval for production changes granted after rigorous testing within just a few weeks.
