Process automation technologies have increasingly evolved into strategic solutions during the last few years. In their responses to the SAPinsider Process Automation and SAP S/4HANA research conducted in April 2022, SAPinsiders highlighted supply chain as one of the top focus functions for process automation. To explore this focus further, we surveyed 106 members of our community between July and September 2022. Supply chain resiliency and agility are on top of the mind of SAPinsiders, as highlighted in their responses. SAPinsiders believe that process automation in the supply chain can help them build capabilities to address their resiliency and agility drivers. SAPinsiders consider process automation in the supply chain as a critical capability necessary for building robust supply chain capabilities required for today's complex supply chains. Since 31% of respondents to the survey were from the EMEA region, we decided to explore the insights from this region separately.
