The HR leaders at HRIZONS recently announced that they are sponsoring and presenting the new video podcast series Integrate or Die. The series features Dr. Steve Hunt and Jordan Katz, as well as their guests, taking deep dives into topics that will help companies bolster their growth and accelerate innovation using the latest HR technologies.

Dr. Hunt is an international HR expert who has helped companies create work environments that allowed employees to flourish, as well as the best-selling author of Talent Tectonics. Katz is the Chief Insights Officer at Simpplr, where he connects technological strategies with employee experiences to help companies meet their KPIs.

“We wanted to seize the opportunity to support this series with Dr. Hunt and Mr. Katz, to showcase the critical importance of cloud-based HR technology development and innovation that supports an industry that has seen such a dramatic paradigm shift in the post-pandemic era. We believe that there are so many facets to cloud-based technology solutions that need to be defined and explored to help our customers understand the myriad of options available to them, and what might best align with their organizational needs as well as growing employee expectations,” said HRIZONS President & CEO Jim Newman in a press release.

Meeting the Market

The new podcast series aims to support those working to create new HR technology offerings that improve employee experiences and strengthen business performance. It also seeks to cut down on the waste that comes from companies implementing HR technologies that end up not being used, whether that is because it does not scale up to higher-level company initiatives, or it is simply not user-friendly and does not catch on with employees.

Organizations must find and integrate solutions that can help them meet their HR goals. SAP companies have consistently noted that a lack of talent is a major stumbling block preventing them from implementing technological solutions that could revolutionize their business. For instance, more than half of respondents to the SAPinsider AI and Automation in Finance Research Report survey said that a lack of internal skills prevented them from implementing AI and automation technology.

The podcast series kicks off with Thomas Otter from Acadian Ventures. Otter joins Katz and Hunt to talk about how companies can fund the growth of HR technology.
