BIBA Fashion deployed APOS Publisher for Cloud after PwC recommended it for secure SAP Analytics Cloud and Analysis for Office broadcasting.
The solution helps automate personalized reporting across exclusive outlets, large-format stores, distribution, marketplace, and e-commerce channels.
The case shows why AfO scheduling and secure cloud broadcasting are becoming key checkpoints in SAP BusinessObjects migration planning.
BIBA Fashion deployed APOS Publisher for Cloud after implementation partner PwC recommended the solution to automate secure broadcasting of SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Analysis for Office reports.
BIBA Fashion Builds a Multi-Channel SAP Analytics Cloud Landscape
BIBA Fashion produces and markets women’s ethnic wear in India and online worldwide. The company adopted SAP BW/4HANA in 2021 for data warehousing, consolidation, and modeling, pairing it with SAP Analytics Cloud for inventory and sales analysis.
Its reporting spans five channels — Exclusive Brand Outlets, Large Format Stores, distribution, marketplace, and e-commerce — with upper management needing consolidated daily sales comparisons across all of them. Zonal managers needed the same data restricted to their own territory, while SAP Analysis for Office handled the high-volume inventory reports used by zonal managers and analysts.
As BIBA’s dashboard grew, they outpaced SAP Analytics Cloud’s native Publications tool. BIBA turned to PwC to burst personalized reports securely and on schedule. PwC evaluated available options and recommended APOS Publisher for Cloud to close that gap.
APOS Publisher for Cloud Brings AfO Scheduling to SAC
APOS Publisher for Cloud is designed to automate generation of tailored report content from SAC and Analysis for Office and distribute it to targeted users and locations. APOS Systems applies that automation to BIBA’s Analysis for Office inventory reports. The same security-driven filtering it applies to SAC stories extends to AfO.
Rahul Gaud, a business analyst at BIBA Fashion, said Publisher for Cloud let the company personalize SAC and AfO reporting for its management team and distribution network.
“As we introduce more real-time, near-real-time, and predictive analysis use cases for faster views into business performance for quicker decision making, we foresee the role and impact of APOS Publisher for Cloud will continue to grow,” Gaud said.
APOS reports that BIBA achieved data-driven distribution, simplified administration, and a reduced burden on its IT team.
What This Means for SAPinsiders
- Cloud broadcasting matures beyond native scheduling. SAP Analytics Cloud adopters moving off SAP BusinessObjects increasingly find native publication tools limited in volume and reach. SAP partners and independent consultancies are building specialized broadcasting extensions to close that gap.
- AfO scheduling becomes a checkpoint in SAC adoption. Analysis for Office reporting still lacks native scheduling and broadcasting inside SAP Analytics Cloud. Organizations planning SAP BusinessObjects retirement are evaluating third-party AfO distribution options before completing migration.
- Retailers scale personalized reporting across management tiers. Multi-channel retailers increasingly need role-based, automated report distribution spanning corporate and zonal teams. Retail and consumer goods organizations are prioritizing security-aware broadcasting as their analytics programs expand.
