SecurityBridge Gains SAP Certification for S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition Integration

SecurityBridge Platform 7 has achieved SAP-certified integration with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, giving RISE with SAP customers a validated deployment path for embedded security controls.

The company’s  platform runs inside SAP environments to support threat monitoring, vulnerability management, patch oversight, custom-code analysis, and compliance. SecurityBridge said the integration allows organizations to protect their SAP systems from within the SAP environment, without additional hardware or external tools.

Certification Validates the Deployment Path

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition is commonly used by established SAP customers with complex processes, extensive custom code, or industry requirements that make a standardized public-cloud ERP less suitable. Many adopt it through RISE with SAP to move those environments into a managed cloud model while retaining greater control over configuration and extensions.

That operating model changes how third-party software enters the ERP landscape. Add-on installation, compatibility, upgrades, and lifecycle management must conform to the requirements of an environment operated by SAP rather than directly by the customer.

SAP certifies partner software against a defined product version and integration scenario. For SecurityBridge Platform 7, the process validates its deployment as an add-on for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition using standard SAP technologies.

The certification can therefore reduce uncertainty over whether SecurityBridge fits the technical model surrounding Private Edition. It gives customers a formally validated route for placing the platform inside an environment central to many RISE with SAP programs.

The process does not assess the performance of capabilities such as threat detection, vulnerability prioritization, or compliance monitoring. Customers must still evaluate those functions against their own security, operational, and regulatory requirements.

SecurityBridge Targets Customer-Controlled Risks

SecurityBridge positions its platform within the responsibilities customers retain under RISE with SAP. SAP operates the underlying cloud infrastructure, while customers continue to govern areas such as user access, application configuration, custom ABAP code, compliance processes, and threat monitoring.

The company extends that approach across the migration lifecycle. Before a move to RISE, the platform can identify vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses that might otherwise carry into the new environment. After migration, it monitors application activity, assesses missing SAP Security Notes, and supports remediation planning.

The certified deployment path gives SecurityBridge a technical foundation for delivering those controls inside SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition. Its individual tools then address the application-level risks that remain under customer management after infrastructure operations move to SAP.

The platform can also send SAP-specific findings to external SIEM and service-management systems, allowing them to enter broader security and incident-response workflows. SecurityBridge says its technology protects more than 8,000 SAP production systems worldwide.

• Certification can shorten deployment reviews. A validated add-on path may help SecurityBridge clear technical, procurement, and change-management requirements in tightly controlled private-cloud environments. Customers still need operating processes that turn its findings into timely remediation.
• RISE creates demand for embedded controls. As SAP assumes greater infrastructure responsibility, customers need tools focused on the application risks they continue to own. Certified add-ons can connect provider operations with internal security governance.
• Migration creates a security investment window. Private Edition programs require organizations to examine custom code, configurations, identities, and inherited vulnerabilities. SecurityBridge can position its platform as part of transformation planning rather than a tool added after go-live.
